Why does someone have to be 13 years or older to read your novel?
The Divine Comedian has adult themes, and occasional swear words that your parents may not appreciate discovering that you learned from me. In addition to this there are various international laws that people who provide content, even literature, publicly on the internet like this have to attempt to stop users who are under age from accessing those materials even if it is just a swear word here and there. So much for being the Great Nation of Free Speech! Our nation does more to get in the way of people's free speech around the world then just about any other country. But, you didn't click on this to get my political view, did you? |
